CLEAR-BLOC® 80 and 100 talc are produced from high purity ore provides high brightness,
clarity, low iron content, and low surface area for primary use as an
anti-block additive in LDPE and LLDPE film applications where superior
blocking, greater polymer stability and improved optical properties are
required. CLEAR-BLOC® 80 and 100 talcs
are platy, hydrophobic, non-abrasive, chemically inert and is suitable for food
contact applications. They are available in powder, densified (D), lightly
densified (LD), densified/sized (DS) and treated (C) forms. The stearate and
silane treatment available can slightly reduce brightness.
